Maybe collage is the natural language of the Anthropocene:

Found parts, assembled pieces, layers, mish-mash, systems of the naturalcultural making sense of culturalnatural, that less and less distinguishable line between visual similarity and material metonymy.  A part and a whole, a hole in every part.
