Texts & Texture, Books of Nature

2019

The Book of Nature is being continually inscribed  - as fossils, sediments, maps, and graffiti alike.

These two tables display assemblages of works and artifacts that came together during my residency at the University of Kansas, exploring the Department of Geology (many thanks to Rudy Serbet),  the Spencer Research Library, and the belly of the university recycling center.

Found books and made books, geological forms of printmaking and made up forms of book sculpting.
